Is this a formal certification course?

No. The Ship Doctor provides educational and decision-support tools. It is not a formal certification, accreditation or training course.

Who is The Ship Doctor for?

Ship doctors, cruise nurses, expedition clinicians, offshore medics, remote healthcare professionals, and clinicians preparing for maritime or shipboard roles.

Is this only for doctors?

No. The Ship Doctor is designed for all maritime and remote-care clinicians including cruise nurses, offshore medics, expedition clinicians and medical students.

Can cruise nurses use it?

Yes. Cruise nurses will find value in emergency recognition, SBAR-M escalation language, interview preparation, documentation structure and onboard readiness tools.

Does it replace company protocols?

No. The resources are educational decision-support tools and do not replace employer protocols, telemedical advice, local law, flag-state requirements or clinician judgment.

Are the products downloadable?

Yes. All digital products are delivered as PDF files via Gumroad. You receive instant access after purchase.

Does the app work offline?

Can I use the tools for patient care?

The tools are educational decision-support aids. They must be used alongside local protocols, company medical direction and clinical judgment. Do not enter patient-identifiable information into any tool.
